Title: Egg, Bacon, and Leek Pie - Ffr

Yield: 4 Servings

6ozShortcrust pastry
4ozLeeks; washed & very thinly sliced
6ozStreaky bacon; diced
4 Eggs
  Salt and black pepper
1pnFreshly grated nutmeg

: Set oven to 400 F degrees of Mark 6. Line a 7-inch round pie dish with pastry. Place the thinly-sliced leeks on the pastry, then the layer of bacon [ham] and lastly break the 4 eggs on top. Season, add nutmeg and cover with a thin layer of pastry. Bake for about 40 minutes. Serve hot with a green vegetable or cold with chutney and salad.
